HOW DO YOU CREATE A BORDER ON PHOTOSHOP?

The easiest method to add a simple border is by using the ‘stroke' command in Photoshop. To do this, begin by selecting the entire photo (Select>>All), then choosing the stroke command (Edit>>Stroke). You'll be asked to choose how wide you want the border to be in pixels, as well as what colour. The more pixels, the wider the border will be.

Using a different blend mode can yield interesting effects. For instance, by using "soft light" with a navy blue colour, you will be able to create a border that still shows the photo underneath.

Connotation: He is serious and worried about something.

Denotation; Diagonal red and white lines.
Connotation: Hypnotising picture with subliminal letters, trying to trick the people reading.

Dennotation: 4 people standing by a rectangular object.
Connotation: They're lost on an abandend cliff with nowhere to go.

Dennotation: A man on fire shaking hands with a man wearing a suit.
Connotation: The man is fearless and doesn't care about his surroundings.

Dennotation: Black and white mountains.
Connotation: It looks unique and it looks lost.

Dennotation: 4 faces with a black background.
Connotation: It shows darkness and gives it a scary theme.

Dennotation: A gloved hand on a woman's bum.
Connotation: Maybe the album is for women.

Dennotation: The back of a mans jeans with a cap in the back pocket,

Connotation: Maybe he wants to live the American Dream.

Dennotation: A giant skeleton and a small devil, the ground is on fire.

Connotation: They're trying to take you to hell.

Waterloo road is shown at 8pm which means it lasts an hour before the watershed at 9. This proves its a series of which younger viewers can watch as well as adults too.

I think the characters appealed to the youth of today that still go to school and sometimes go through struggles because of it. This makes the cast relatable to a young audience but also gives adults another perspective of school life at its worst. 

I Think they designed the waterloo road logo like this because it looks like school desks being shoved together, which has an association with the theme of the series (a school).

I Used Logic Pro and went to a studio to record this track. I also had to use an apple mac and a microphone.
